Public Interest Law Academy Introduction

Description

Faculty Sponsor: Professor Lucy Williams

The BYU Law Public Interest Academy is a rigorous, three-day training program designed to introduce students to careers in public interest law.  During this program, students will visit several public interest organizations to see how lawyers use their legal training to do public interest work.

This is the first year that BYU Law is offering a Public Interest Academy—our first Academy devoted entirely to public service careers. This Academy will give students unprecedented early exposure to the many possibilities available for pursuing a career in the public sector while offering them an opportunity to meet with practicing public-interest attorneys.
